"I never got my verification email"
After signup, ShowSort sends a verification link to your email. If it didn't arrive:
- Check your spam folder. Filters can eat the message.
- Check the email address. Was it typed correctly?
- Wait a minute. Email delivery is usually instant but occasionally lags.
- Resend. From the verification waiting page, click Resend Verification Email.
Still nothing? Email support@showsort.com from the address you used to sign up, and we'll help verify you manually.
"I forgot my password"
ShowSort uses Auth0 for login. On the login screen, click Forgot Password and follow the reset flow — you'll get a reset link by email.
"I can log in but I don't see any of my shows"
This almost always means you signed in with a different identity than the one you originally created your shows under. ShowSort identifies your account by email and by sign-in method, so the same person can end up with two separate account profiles without realizing it.
The two most common ways this happens:
- Different email address. You signed up with
you@gmail.comoriginally and are now logging in withyou@studio.com(or vice versa). - Different sign-in method. ShowSort lets you sign in either with Google or with an email + password. If you signed up with Google but later logged in with email + password (or vice versa), Auth0 treats those as two separate identities — even if the email address is the same. You'll see an empty account because your shows live under the other identity.
What to do: Log out, then log back in using the exact method you used when you first created your shows. If you can't remember which one that was, email support@showsort.com with your account email and (if you have it) a link to one of your shows, and we'll help you find the right account.
"I changed email providers and need to move my shows"
Email support@showsort.com with both the old and new addresses. We can transfer ownership.
